Itinerary

Day 0 – Departure from Delhi | Overnight Journey

  • Meet your trip captain and board the AC Volvo/Traveller from RK Ashram Metro Station (7 PM).
  • Overnight journey to Shimla with chai stops and music en route.

Day 1 – Shimla ➝ Kufri ➝ Rampur ➝ Sangla

  • Drive through pine forests and apple orchards toward the Sutlej Valley.
  • Highlights: Kufri View Point, Karcham Dam, Sutlej River Valley photo stops.
  • Overnight Stay: Sangla (Valley View Hotel / Similar)

 

Day 2 – Sangla ➝ Chitkul ➝ Sangla

  • Explore Chitkul – India’s last village before Tibet, blanketed in snow.
  • Enjoy local village walks and riverside views.

Day 3 – Sangla ➝ Nako ➝ Gue (Optional) ➝ Tabo

  • Drive deeper into the Spiti Valley via frozen Nako Lake and Tabo Monastery.

Day 4 – Tabo ➝ Dhankar ➝ Kaza

  • Visit Dhankar Monastery, perched on a cliff overlooking Spiti and Pin Rivers.
  • Arrive in Kaza by evening; enjoy local cafés and the snowy market.

Day 5 – Kaza Local Sightseeing (Highest Villages of Spiti)

  • Explore Key Monastery, Kibber, Chicham Bridge, Hikkim (Post Office), Komic, and Langza (Buddha Statue).
  • Evening New Year Bonfire & Gala Dinner in Kaza.

Day 6 – Kaza ➝ Nako ➝ Khab ➝ Kalpa

  • Begin the return journey through frozen valleys and river confluences.
  • Highlights: Nako Lake, Khab Sangam (Spiti & Sutlej confluence), Sunset at Kalpa.

Day 7 – Kalpa ➝ Suicide Point ➝ Shimla ➝ Delhi

  • Visit Suicide Point and the apple orchards before descending to Shimla.
  • Board the overnight Volvo for Delhi.
  • Trip Ends — but the memories of Spiti stay forever.
