Frequently Asked Questions

How do I reach this trip from Hyderabad?
Fly from Hyderabad to Delhi (about 2 hours 10 minutes, with many daily flights) and join the overnight Volvo to Manali on Day 1. We help you time your flight so you reach the Delhi boarding point comfortably by evening. You can also fly Hyderabad–Chandigarh and start from the Shimla side on request. Flights are not included in the package.
Can solo travellers join this group tour?
Absolutely. Most departures have a healthy mix of solo travellers and small friend groups, and your trip captain makes sure everyone feels included from the overnight Volvo onwards.
Why three nights in Kaza instead of two?
Three nights give your body proper time to acclimatise and let you explore the high-village and monastery circuits without rushing — so you leave feeling like you actually lived in Spiti rather than just passing through.
Is Day 2 tiring after the overnight Volvo?
It is a long day — you arrive in Manali and drive straight to Kaza. Rest well on the bus, carry snacks, stay hydrated, and take the first evening in Kaza easy.
What is the group size?
Group departures typically run with 10 to 18 travellers plus a trip captain in a Tempo Traveller. For a private vehicle and upgraded stays, ask us about a customised version.
How cold does it get at Chandratal and Kaza in summer?
Kaza nights run roughly 5–10°C, while Chandratal can drop to 0–5°C even in July. Pack thermals, a down jacket, gloves, and a warm cap.
What about mobile network and ATMs?
Network is limited in Kaza (BSNL is most reliable) and absent at Chandratal. ATMs can be unreliable, so carry roughly ₹5,000–₹7,000 in cash for the full trip.
