Overview

Our most-loved full 8 Nights 9 Days Shimla to Manali Spiti Circuit from Hyderabad, made for first-timers flying in from Hyderabad who want the entire Spiti story in one balanced, comfortable trip. After a short flight up to Delhi, the journey eases in gently with a Narkanda night for smoother acclimatisation, then carries you through the Kinnaur classics — Sangla, Chitkul, Reckong Peo, and the Kinner Kailash views at Kalpa — before crossing Nako and the Gue monastery into Spiti. You will explore Tabo, Dhankar, Kaza and its high villages, the iconic Key Monastery, Kibber, and Chicham Bridge, then camp beside Chandratal Lake before descending to Manali. With its smooth Shimla-entry, Manali-exit flow and an unhurried pace, this circuit gives Hyderabad travellers the complete valley without ever repeating a road.

Frequently Asked Questions

I'm flying from Hyderabad — when should I arrive in Delhi?
Because this circuit begins with an early Delhi-to-Narkanda drive, we recommend Hyderabad travellers fly in the previous evening and stay overnight in Delhi (we can help arrange the pre-night). This avoids any risk of a delayed flight causing you to miss the Day 1 departure. Flights and the Delhi pre-night are not included.
What is the best time for this Shimla-to-Manali Spiti circuit?
May to September is the prime window, when both routes are accessible. Chandratal access depends on Kunzum Pass opening and current conditions, usually from around mid-June.
Why does this trip start with a Narkanda night?
The Narkanda night, followed by Kinnaur’s gradual climb through Sangla and Kalpa, gives your body time to adapt before you cross into the high villages — making it one of the gentlest, safest acclimatisation flows into Spiti.
Is this trip suitable for first-time Spiti travellers?
Yes. The Shimla-entry, Manali-exit flow with a relaxed pace and a comfortable Manali hotel night at the end makes it our most first-timer-friendly full circuit.
Where do we camp for Chandratal Lake?
Camping is only at the designated camping zone near Chandratal, with a separate visit to the lake on foot as per local rules — there is no camping at the shore.
How cold does it get at Chandratal and Kaza in summer?
Kaza nights run roughly 5–10°C, while Chandratal and the high passes can fall to 0–5°C even in summer. Carry warm layers, a down jacket, and gloves.
Do you provide oxygen support on this tour?
Yes — an emergency oxygen cylinder is carried in the vehicle on every departure. It is chargeable only if used and is not a substitute for professional medical treatment.
